They have asked him to show his bold modern floral canvases during August and September as a way of raising theirs and the Phoenixs profile. Teresa says Its a great destination eating and meeting place in Hereford city centre we wanted to relight interest in the business and thought that Jasons work was just the spark that the Phoenix needed His art is more often than not shown in restaurants and cafes rather than ubiquitous art galleries. As he explains people are more inclined to buy or commission his work when they are sat down relaxed and eating. The newly redesigned cafe space incorporates an icecream parlour selling their fantastic range of home made ice creams which I cant stop eating and a retail area stocking a selective range of locally sourced organic produce including the Figs own beautiful jams and preserves.
